orientation of screen

I inadvertantly hit a couple of keys while working in Word 97 and it caused
my screen to rotate 90 degrees counterclockwise. I don't know how I did it,
but would like some suggestions as to how to undo it. Unfortunately the
system restore option was turned off so I can't go back using that. I am
using my flat sccreen tipped on its side right now.

help!!

What monitor/graphics cards do you have? Some have "portrait" mode which
allows you to rotate it, maybe search for your monitor and portrait mode in
google to find how to rotate and therefore unrotate it.

You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".
