Org Chart

I inherited an Org Chart created in PowerPoint 2002, however, every time I
double click it to make edits PowerPoint changes the Layout of the Org Chart
to a Standard Layout. The Org Chart was formatted in a layout that is not
part of PowerPoint. Is there any way I can keep PowerPoint from changing the
layout of the Org Chart? I really need to edit the data in the Org Chart but
I don't want the layout to change.

Thanks,

Try editing it in Word
Copy and paste special as a picture in another format

Marilyn,
My guess is that autoformat for the diagrams is turned on. To turn it off,
select the org chart. The Organization Chart toolbar should appear. Click
the drop down for layout. The last entry is autoformat. Unselect it. You
should be able to edit the chart without it changing.

Kathy,

I thank you for your response and advice. I have tried turning off the
AutoLayout and the program still does the same thing. My guess is that I'm
going to have to manually restructure the Org Chart.

Thanks,
