How do you get Frontpage to delete the pictures on the
host web site server that you have deleted from your
computer web page when publishing the site????? i think
it is a switch that i need to change but can't seem to
find it. thanks dave

If you are deleting them with your local web open in FrontPage, it "should"
automatically prompt you.

If not, with the local web open click Tools > Recalculate hyperlinks and when it
is done select File Publish.
It then should prompt you to delete the files.

Howdy,

Publish/then down at bottom:Options/Publish tab/ Determine Changes comparing source and destination webs.

then Publish...you will have to pay attention to all the popup boxes asking you to delete the destination (or source) files that don't exist. Although sometimes this will not handle the image files because they may be in use by other pages, so I usually do them manually.

hth.
