Options gone on NHL06 plz help

Now when I run NHL06 there are no options on the main/home screen so I can't
play because I can't choose to play.

I reformatted my laptop back to factory settings which stated that it would
totally wipe my hard-drive. After doing this I opened the preinstalled trial
of Norton Internet Security and it says I'm protected against the viruses
beagle and mydoom wait wasn't everything wiped from my hard-drive. I don't
know much about viruses but isn't mydoom a really bad one could that have
something to do with the performance of my games ever deteriorating.

So what can I do so as NHL06 displays the options once more.

Hi Zylitar,

If NIS says you're "protected against the viruses beagle and mydoom"
that doesn't mean the same as saying you're infected with those viruses.

Is that indeed the exact message you see when you launch NIS?

Hi Jimmy S

I fixed NHL06 see I had my graphics card direct3D and OpenGL settings set
to optimal performance I've now got it set to high quality. I am or was
protected against those worms I say was because I downloaded a little utility
from "AVAST!" that removes various worms. When I scanned nothing was found
and the two are no longing showing up in my NIS interface in outbreak alert
under protected. anyway nice to chat with a PC wizard such as yourself.
