Operating system XP PRO

For some reason did my new operating system XP come up to
small on my laptop - the size of the XP doesn't fit the
size of my laptop - what is wrong.???

How can I correct it - so it will be full-screen size.??

Right-click on the desktop, choose Properties, go to the Settings tab
and change the screen resolution.
