I have been using ME with FP 2002 and manually producing the web site
hyperlinks etc. I want to produce the site on XP as I believed all facilities
of FP would be available. What do I need to do so I can see the themes such
as buttons on the page that I am editing such as in shared borders. The
instruction booklet with the FP 2002 talks of servers and the FP extensions
but the jargon I cannot understand.

You can use FP2002 on XP without a server on your hd, just create disc-based webs. C:\...\My Documents\My Webs\nameofyourweb.

You won't be able to work against a database and a few other active things without a server. BUT you will be able to see shared borders and themes. Just remember to create a WEB FIRST :-)

And...if you have XP Home you won't be able to have a server anyway, only XP Pro version will support a server.
