Thanks rdf, Opera and Firefox on the same day, nice. :)

H'mmm, that's interesting. I wonder if the Mozilla are doing a little
bit of looking over their shoulders with the advent of the free Opera
browser.

No, there was a bug in last week's Firefox release that needed to be
fixed.

It's cool that Opera offers to upgrade a current installation. No
need to uninstall earlier versions.
I should bloody hope so!! I held off on installing opera9 until they told
me it was all final, so I wouldn't have to undertake the slightly risky
(IME) task of re-updating.

I really don't want to go back through the mill of losing all mail,
checking the knowledgebase, finding out which ini to tweak, etc, etc

Umm. "No"? Have I missed something?

All of this seems to suggest (no more) that Opera is good. Why "No"?

And, after installing 1.5.0.6, I noticed a rather large increase in memory-draw
by way of *.0.6. I re-installed *.0.5, and the 'problem' appears to have
cleared up.

v1.5.0.7, anyone?

I thunk it suggested that the timing of these two minor releases was
more than a coincidence, which is why I used "no".
