Given that it's a 70+ Meg download, and possibly an unstable build, I think
I'll wait for the next release candidate at least. Silly me, I downloaded
2.0RC1 just before it went final and no, I haven't got broadband.

Sorry, but no... it probably isn't. Version 2.0 is the most recent
stable version. Anything after that is a testing version until they
announce the next stable version. Best to avoid testing versions unless
you are a contributing developer or an end user who likes to point out bugs.

I don't reply to trolls and other such idiots. No adware, cdware,
commercial software, crippleware, demoware, nagware, PROmotionware,
shareware, spyware, time-limited software, trialware, viruses or warez
please.

Thanks for that John, I feel just plain old stupid, any ideas where I can
download 2.0? Using 'Free Download Manager' I can only build this file slice
by slice, but I'm grateful for that, left to XP and IE only, I wouldn't be
able to do this size of file at all, well the chances of success would be
minimal anyway. The building file would just get deleted after a couple of
days, yours still learning, Michael.

Michael, there is way to have it without downloading, for free.

You go to this page https://shipit.ubuntu.com/.
It's a linux distro. They send free CDs to anyone who asked them.
With the Linux distro they also send a "Live CD". In it there is the
OpenOffice.org for Windows v2.0.

Or you can also get it in here http://www.theopencd.org/
TheOpenCD.org. It's a distro of Open Source software for Windows. It's
675MB so downloanding it is out of question. But you can buy it for a
modest price. For ex. in here:
<http://www.linuxcd.org/view_item.php?id_version=1253&ref=opencd>
only $1.99.
