Opening Word screen shakes briefly

Recently when I open Word 2003 or Excel 2003, the screen shakes up &
down briefly. Checked for a virus, did all the updates, nothing
worked. I tried a repair, then uninstalled & reinstalled nothing
helps. I have this installed on three other machines with no problems.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
