Opening Word Document with Macros and not hyperlinks.

Im trying to open a specific word document from within Excel ive used the
formula:

Shell ("H:\Macro work\letter"), vbMaximizedFocus

However this doesnt appear to work, Any ideas would be much appreciated.

you would need the rest of the file name, like "letter.DOC"
