Opening/Viewing .jpg attachments

I am trying to open a .jpg attachment - it's a photo. When I try to open it
I get a msg that says 'application not found'. This never used to happen so
I don't know what I've done. In order to view the picture I have to save it
in a folder - exit Outlook and then open that file. Thanks for any help!
 
Control Panel .. Folder Options .. File associations . You need to change
your default viewer for jpeg files.
