opening reports

I designed a report in access 2007 and I can open the report in "report view"
which gives me access to the control button on report to search.

When I transfer report to users (using 2003 version) they can only preview.
I tried updating code to acview or ac normal view and then report just prints.

Anyone know of a work around for this? Is it just a pipedream and I have to
redisgn reoports in form view?
Any help is appreciated.

That option is not available in anything before Access 2007.
