opening pst files

I have a new computer and I saved my pst files from the old computer on a
disk. When I try and open those files in Outlook on the new computer if get
a message window that says that says "File access is denied. You do not have
the permission required to access the file E:\BOMA.pst." What have I done
wrong? Won't I ever be able to acces my old data again? Please help.

"I saved my pst files from the old computer on a disk."
What kind of disk? Hard disk, CD/DVD?

Make sure the pst-file is located on a hard disk in a place where you have
read/write access to the file and that the "Read Only" file attribute of the
file isn't selected.

Thank you Roady. It was that simple. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
