Opening multiple picture files

I'd like to able to open several picture files (jpg), then view them all at
once. If I open a picture file, then attempt to open another picture file,
the first picture file will change, to the image of the second picture file.
While using a newsgroup viewer, I'm not able to complete this task, either.
My default viewer is the Windows & Fax viewer. Do I need to use a different
program?? I'm able to open multiple windows, on other programs.

Try Irfanview, which is free. Get it from www.irfanview.com.
