opening multiple browser windows

I am getting a similar problem. When I click on a link to
open in a new window, or even when I go to the File and
open a new window, the new window opens, but my current
window closes. I'm not sure if it's cuz of Yahoo messenger
and I wanna know if there's any way to fix that to have
multiple broswer windows open. Please e-mail me.

This is a known problem with the Yahoo Companion toolbar.

I have been having the same problem for several weeks
now, and from a review of this newsgroup, apparently so
have a lot of other people. I also downloaded the new
Yahoo a few weeks ago, but didn't connect the two events
until I saw these posts. I thought I did not add Yahoo
Companion, however, so the poster who said it's a "known
problem" - now what? I don't think I;m using the Yahoo
Companion, and if I am, how do I find out and what can be
done?

Some people in my office suggested using Mosaic or
Netscape instead of IE, but that seems a little extreme -
isn't there something simpler?
