Opening Microsoft Office without going to Microsoft Outlook

Is there a way to bypass outlook and go directly to contracts or calendar,
etc.???

Yes. Go to help and search on 'command line options'.

Since your Contacts and Calender are in Outlook's data file, which only
Outlook can read, how do you think you'll be able to bypass Outlook to see
them?
