Opening links in frames

Scooby Doo

I've created a frames page using the predefined Contents Frames Page in
Frontpage. The left frame has a list of my favourite pages with their
respective hyperlinks.

When I click on them it opens the correct link in a new window, all I want
to do is to have it open on the right frame - how do I do this?

Thanks

Set your frame / link targets to the name of the other frame

Thanks Stefan, but I'm not sure I follow. Do I leave everything as it is and
change the frame properties of the source frame or the destination frame?

Thanks again

Right click your left frame (one w/ the links) for Frame Properties and set the default target for the links (destination frame)
- or set each hyperlink target individually

I've tried this but something isn't right.

I'm using Frontpage 2002 and I right-click on the left frame to bring up the
Frame Properties. From there I click on Frames Page to bring up the Page
Properties. On the General tab there is a field Default Target Frame. This
gives me four options 1) Same Frame 2) Whole Page 3) New Window 4) Parent
Frame or I can put in there whatever I like. I've tried putting in the right
frame's name but this hasn't worked.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks. This works each of the individual links but how can I do it so it
relates to ALL the links?

Its ok, I've done it now but it took a while.

Essentially, I did the change on one link, copied all the releveant html
text into Excel for manipulation and copied all the necessary changes to the
other 1200 links.

A big thanks to everyone who contributed, much appreciated.
