opening .gif files????

I am also having trouble opening the .gif files. I have
tried in several programs but no luck. There must be
something in my settings that is not allowing me to open
them.
I could really use some suggestions here if you have any

FileTypes tab on FolderOptioms in ControlPanel
determines this.

Any advice given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS. Personal attacks, nitpicking & criticism

Try deleting your Temporary Internet Files.
