Opening Explorer in a separate window

Explore opens in the same window and that is the way I want it most of
the time. Can I force it, for one session, to open in another window?

What I do Terry, is right-click on the folder I want to open in Windows
Explorer, and choose Explore (2nd item in the drop-down menu) rather than
Open.
In this way my original Explorer page remains open, whilst another one opens
for this session only.
Is this what you wanted?

Also
Shift + Dbl Click a drive shortcut, Recycle Bin, Start Menu, or My Computer

Open an explorer view with the double clicked item selected

Remember to select the item before dbl clicking.

Have you tried the other browsers that are available? For example Firefox
gives the opportunity to open new tabs in the same window as well as in new
windows. It's rather good.

Yep this is what I wanted.
Thanks

I have tried other browsers. I never could get used to losing the
Google tool bar. Firefox was close but I need the built in spell check
the Google bar has.
