Opening Excel with xp

My new computer is programmed with Windows xp Home
Edition.

I want to open an Excel spreadsheet transfered from my
old computer.

How can I do that?
 
Install Excel. If you had it on your old machine, you have an installation
CD somewhere.

Purchase and install a copy of Excel on the new PC.
