Is it possible to open more then one document at the same time, so that one
does not have to do file, open over and over agian? Thanks.

Hi Steve

Sure. Here are two ways:

1. In Windows Explorer, click the name of the first file you want to open.
Then hold down Control and click the names of the other files. Now,
right-click and choose Open. Or, do File > Open.

2. Within Word itself, File > Open. Click the name of the first file you
want to open. Then hold down Ctrl and click the names of the other files.
Now, click the Open button.

If you hold down Ctrl while you're clicking, you can click one at a time. If
you hold down Shift while you're clicking you select all the files between
the first and second one you clicked on. Try it: it's simpler than I can
describe!

(By the way, you can close all the open files in one go, too. In Word, hold
down Shift, then click File > Close All.)

Hope this helps.
