Opening Doc not show "Documents1"

i don't know what happen every time i open Word,
it always show "Document11" is not show "Document1"

anyone tell me what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong. Each time you open a New Document, word
gives it a default name. In this case Document One. Once
you name and save the new document, it takes on the name
you gave it.

Hi Jay

You have probably got 10 undeleted "~$ ..." temporary files left from a
previous crash. These are interpreted as open files, so the next new
document count is 11.

Jay,

You probably have a left over temporary file somewhere.
Sometimes this will cause Word to increment with each file
opening as the next .doc1 .doc2 .doc3 etc.

This can usually be coorected by closing Word and
rebooting the computer.
