Opening closed sub-folders when new mail arrives

I recently upgraded to Outlook 2002 from the previous version. The old
version would open a closed sub-folder when new mail arrived, alerting me to
that fact. This version does not. Is there a setting somewhere I can change
to regain that functionality.
