When I open any drive I get the search screen. If I right click C drive for
example I get search followed by open in the list shown. How can I change the
order so that open is at the top of list and therefore double clicking will
open drives?

reg add "HKCR\Drive\shell" /ve /d "none" /f
Click OK

This problem occurs when you change the drive entry through the File Types
dialog.
