Opening and Saving Access 97 files in Access XP

Basically as a school project I have to do a database. At school we are using
Access 97. At home I have Access XP. Now you cant open Access XP Databases in
97. But you can open 97 files in the XP version. But you cannot save them as
97 files once youv'e finished with it (I hope everyone is still following
here). I was wondering if there was a way that you could save 97 files in XP
as 97 files. So that I could open them back in school.

Hi,

Tools | database Utilities | Convert Database | Convert to Access 97.

This will allow you to work with it in both versions, Access 97 and Access XP
