Opening an imbedded URL in MS OL opens another OL window-why?

When I try to open an imbedded URL in and email it opens another MS Outlook
window. I want it to open in MS Explorer like my other 3 Computers do NOT
Outlook. I have checked the security options and other setting and they all
seem to be the same. How can I change this so attachments open a browser
window and not MS Outlook?
If I open anything form Yahoo, AIM or Hotmail it will open another browser
window.

How are you trying to "open" the URL? Are you clicking the URL? What kind
of URL is it? HTTP? mailto?

How can I change this
so attachments open a browser window and not MS Outlook?

Attachments should open in the application associated with the attachment's
file type. URLs are not attachments.
