I have a voicemail system connected to Outlook, but when I upgraded to
Outlook 2003 and try to open these messages I get this error message:

alt="Your browser understands the <APPLET> tag but isn't running the applet,
for some reason. Your browser is completely ignoring the <APPLET> tag!

Well, what security zone is Outlook configured to use? If it is the
Restricted Sites security zone then you can see that the settings for that
zone will disable scripts. Why does your voicemail system send you e-mail
with embedded scripts in it? Presumably this "voice" mail system is sending
a notice that you received a verbal message, not that it translated the
message or attached it to an e-mail. Seems stupid that the voicemail system
needs to use scripting to send a simply notification e-mail to you or to
send that notification message with an attached file which is a recording of
that phone message. Of course, you never mentioned your "voicemail system"
so no one can help you with it.
