opening a txt file in exce and losing decimal places.

when i open a txt file in excel that has 9 decimals excel is rounding t
5 decimals even though the cell is general
 
If the cell is General and the columnwidth is too narrow, it might look like
it's rounded--try widening that column.

(or just select that cell and look in the formula bar)
