Pardon my ignorance first off as I know very little about Access, but
managed to create a very simple inventory database. I have it set to open
to a specific form when the file is opened. What i was wondering, as I've
seen this on other databases, is there a way to open the file so that ONLY
the form opens, i.e. without the Access application window in the
background?

Thank you.

Tools + StartUp
Remove the check mark from the 'Display Database Window' box

This would be for the database window, not the Access Application Window.

Thanks. One other thing, I created a switchboard for the database to open
to, and each time it opens as a small window within Access....is there a way
to force this particular form to open maximized?

Thanks again..
