Opening a Database without Access

I Have created a database in Access 2002 but need to make it available for
users that don't have access. Is this possible and how??

1. You can build an Access runtime for those users to install.
2. You can use a VB or C language executable.
3. You can build an ASP front end to use over the web.

Runtime and how?

You'll need to get a copy of the Developer's Edition of Office, for whatever
version of Access you want to install. It has various names depending upon
the version. There should be instructions on the CD, but you can also find
several articles on the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Since your DB is in Access2002, recommend Office XP Developer. This has a
component called the Packaging Wizard. You can use it to easily make a setup
package for distributing your DB that will will also install Access2002
Runtime. Works great. Does your DB include VBA? If so, you might want to
create an MDE version of the DB first, then distribute that. You can use the
Start menu from the Tools Menu to further customize your DB behavior.
