opengl or D3D for 9800 pro

which looks better or performs better and in what games....i know this is a
broad question, but i was looking for some oppinions.

Open GL for Counter-Strike. 3D3 for everything else.

No, not for everything else. Geez, you think Counterstrike is the only
OpenGL game or what? Il-2 Sturmovik has the choice of D3D and OpenGL
and runs faster in OpenGL on Nvidia cards. He would have to test both
modes and decide for himself. There are quite a few games that support
OpenGL and D3D. Quake is OpenGL only.
