OpenFileDialogBox - How to set the initial field view to Thumbnail

in the OpenFileDialogBox component, how do I set the initial file view to
Thumbnails? It defaults to detail on my computer, but I want to force it to
the Thumbnails style in my VB.NET application.

AFAIK there is no managed way to do that. A VB6 sample can be found here:

Herfried, if you have any contacts at microsoft, this would be a good
