openeing .pst files for outlook

Shaun

I am trying to open a .pst file. It is my contacts from
Outlook at work, and I sent it here to my house. When I
get the prompt to "open file with..." outlook is not one
of the options available. Can anyone tell me how to open
this file and get them in my contacts here at home?

Don't double click on the PST file. Save it to your hard drive and then open
it within Outlook by using the File, Open, Outlook Data File.

Shaun,

save the pst file on the harddisk, open your Outlook, than

"File/open/Outlook Datafile"

and select the path to the PST file on your Harddisk.

Try exporting them to a comma seperated values. this
will send it to excel. send the excel files to your home
address. Import the file into your home computer

Never export when you don't need to. Your advice is bogus and won't solve
the OP's problem.
