Open to Favorites

In Word 2002 the Favorites folder appeared as an option
with icon on the left side of the File>Open dialog box
window. In Word 2003 I find that folder missing and Help
does not respond to inquiries about it.

How can the Favorites folder be restored to that helpful
position?

Thanks
..

If this works the same way as in Word 2002, browse to the folder, select it,
and use "Add to My Places" on the Tools menu of the dialog.

Thanks, Suzanne. That does work. Plus I found through
Help that by right-clicking on any icon in "My Places"
you can move Favorites up to the top position which seems
to be all that's necessary to get the Open Window to
default to that folder.

Are you on MS staff? Whatever the case, you sure are
helpful. I appreciate it.

That must be new in Word 2003, but that does sound helpful.

No, see http://www.mvps.org/word/AboutMVPs/index.htm
