Open Ports Killing Net Speed

It's your disaster do what you want with it as you have resolved nothing.

gets referenced, the number keeps shrinking...

I've seen systems connected to BTOpenworld using the modem they supply
infected in less than a minute. We get a lot of people walking in with
machines that have been connected to BTO and have ground to a halt.
Customers walk out with a newly formatted and re-installed system under
one arm with AVG, Spybot & ZoneAlarm installed and a NAT ADSL router
under the other.
