open offline folder in outlook when exchange no longer available

I have moved offices and no longer have access to the old exchange 2003
server ( the server no longer exists). I had access to my offline folders
under exchange but I need to open my old exchange 2003 offline folders to
look up an old email. how can i achieve this?

The folders were created using Outlook 2003 but I am using Outlook 2007 beta
at present.

Run Outlook with the same mail profile that you used in the old office. If you no longer have the mail profile and can't restore from a backup, then the .ost file you have is orphaned and of no further use.

Unfortunately I no longer have the old mail profile as I deleted it thinking
it was no longer needed.

Can I not 'adopt' it somehow?

..ost files are designed to be secure. If you want to hack it, expect to spend a few hundred dollars for a tool to convert it to a pst file (which you can find with your favorite search engine).

Spammer pukes yet again in Usenet about his payware site. You don't need
