Hi,
Trying to install outlook 2007 (Win 7) and it keeps asking me for exchange
server details.
I don't use exchange, I just want to access regular email folders.
When I exit the pop-up box it shuts down outlook with "Cannot open default
mail folders - outlook.ost is not an offline folder file.
Keeps looping round.
tried deleting ost file and there is no pst file.
Please help !
Cheers

That's because you selected Exchange" when you first tried to set it up.
With Outlook closed, do Control Panel-Mail-Email Accounts and remove the
Exchange account there.
Then (in the same place) set up your proper email account.
