Let's put an end to the myth (lie?) you keep spreading about Windows &
linux and malware/viruses ok?
1) both are susceptible to malware and viruses. I know your pointy head
will explode if you accept that fact, but how cares, we all can duck
when that happens, (if ever!). But that is an irrefutable fact.
Too bad!
Live with it.

If one only gets one's programs from the repository, there is NO CHANCE
of getting a virus or malware with Linux.
2) We've never, ever had any of our computers infected with malware or
viruses. Never!
Liar.

So the stupid idea of running Adobe CS3 on wine on linux
to simply avoid malware or viruses is shockingly ignorant and based on a
bold faced lie.

No, it isn't. Wake up and smell the coffee.

The Home & Student version seems reasonable:

I wish MS would let you do a mix and match. What I mean is you could get
Word and any three apps for the H&S price. Add another app for say 200.
I'd be all over that. I use Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote
extensively. I sometimes use Excel and Publisher. But to get all of those
in one package it is over 500. Of course you can get S&H and then buy
outlook and publisher separately for around 375. Too much!
