Open next message when message is closed?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to configure Outlook 2003 so that when you close out of a
message (not move or delete a message but just close it), the next message in
the folder opens by default? I did find the setting for automatically
opening the next message when the previous message is deleted or moved, but
didn't see an option for when the message is closed. Thanks in advance for
any advice you can offer!

I don't think there is such an option. How about just clicking on the Up
or Down Arrow in the standard toolbar?

Thanks Pat, I don't think the option exists either but I was hoping someone
could confirm that for me. Someone I work for has requested this and I just
want to know for sure that it's not possible. Thanks for your response! Has
anyone else ever tried to do this?
