Open new window, no access to internet.

That is right, I open a new window for a new link, I don't have Internet
access on the newly opened window. I have to use the first window for
browsing. Another reason to try out the new IE7 because of tabbed browsing?
Or is it because of no more Active X controls allowed on Internet Explorer 6?
Anyone got a tip about this?
Also, my stupid internet security program, is acting up like crazy, and
bunch of stuff going with it. I can't run the Active X program from the
maker to check and see what is wrong with it. No more Active X.

Try to update/reinstall your scripting engines from here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp

If still no joy, go to File Types (My Computer...Tools...Folder
Options...File Types tab)
Scroll down to the URL: Hypertext Transfer Protocol file type, click to
highlight, click Edit, click Open, click Edit (slightly different with Me -
click to highlight, click Advanced, click Open, click Edit).

Application used: "C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\iexplore.exe" -nohome
Use DDE box should be checked
DDE Message: "%1",,-1,0,,,,
Application: IExplore
DDE...not running: <blank>
Topic: WWW_OpenURL

Okay out.

Or try this article:

Also, programs or toolbars with pop-up blockers can interfer - disable them.

Thank you for your response, but a restart on my pc did the trick. But I
don't have internnet access on other user accounts. It is like, everytime i
turn on my pc, I don't know what will happen next. What can I do to enable
internet access back on other user accounts?

Thank you.

Whoa, I really don't want to mess around with the registry. What else can
I
do?

If you follow instructions carefully there is almost no danger in editing
the Registry. Print the instructions an check off each one as you complete
it. On the other hand this one from my original post does it for you.

Have you tried getting rid of your Base64 specification? <eg>

Done earlier tonight when Steverino pointed it out to me. Guess I must've
been testing something and...

But many of my "missings" weren't made on this machine and Base64 wasn't
enabled on t'other one.

Now, you tell me why your posts always have strange formatting and an
unusually large number of unnecessary line breaks.
