Open In Normal View

I created a link from a web page to a PowerPoint ppt
file. When the link is selected, the file opens in Slide
Presesentation. I want it to open in Normal view. How can
this be done. I have PowerPoint 2002 on my XP machine.
 
Change the file extension from ppt to pps. Or you can do a "File", "Save
as" and change the "save as type" to "PowerPoint Slideshow".
 
OOPS! Better wake up and finish packing! Maybe I ought to just stay home
and study! HA!
 
My problem is PowerPoint is opening as a slide show and
when user exits slide show, they return to web page. I
want to offer the user various print option that are
available when PowerPoint opens in the Normal view. The
current file type is ppt.
