Open in a New Window

When I click on a link within an email (OE6 in WinXP), how do I get IE
6.1 to open it in a new window?
 
From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."
This should work reliably with links in a mail or news message.
