Open Folder on Startup

I have a folder that always opens when Windows (XPSP2)
starts up. It is not in any startup folder. Does anyone
know why this is happening, or, more importantly, how to
get it to stop opening every time I start my computer?
Thanks ...

Does it appear when you click on Start>All Programs>Start Up? If so,
right-click and delete.

What's in the folder that's popping up? That might be a clue as to how to
stop this.

I suspect you have a program in the run section of the registry that
is improper. I have that all the time when I load a program that is in
a directory that has a long file name (IE Program Files 5) that will
cause it most of the time. Go to the run section and enclose the
offending entry in Quotes are make the directory rename like this
(Progra~5) If that is not the problem I don't have a clue.
Also check the run user section for the same info.
