I have a problem with a Windows 2000 domain. Sometimes when people close
files the server still thinks the files are open when I check the open files
in mmc. This causes issues when they then open the files. They get
prompted saying 'the file is already open' and do they wish to open in read
only mode. Also it causes issues if anyone is trying to delete a file that
the server thinks is open. Anyone know what may be causing this behaviour?
The 2000 server was on SP3, we've gone to SP4 this week.
