open file frontpage 2002

I have several web sites set up under "my webs" in "my docs". When I go to
"open file", I see several blue circles with an arrow (frontpage symbol)
that identifies several of my pages, and then I see the explorer symbol on
several others. Does anyone know why and what I have done that would cause
that?

That's when you Open...not Open Web.
If you intend on working on your web you should Open Web
