Open file folder command

Evelyn

I hope someone can help me. Very recently I jimmied up my
Open file folder command so that when I double click on a
file folder, a window pops up. It has a black background
and the file path says it is C:WINDOWS\system\ykrp.com

When I go to Start, Control Panel, Appearance & Themes,
Folder Options, File Types, and choose File Folder, then
Advanced and click on Open (or anyother option) both the
Edit and Remove buttons are grayed out so I cannot remove
this current open command.

Does anyone know how to get this back to where double
clicking on a file folder will simply open it? All
individual file folder setting have "Double click to
open" option chosen.

Would greatly, greatly appreciate help. The only way I
can open a file folder is to right click and choose
explore! I hate it!

Thanks,

Evelyn

Thank you, Wesley,

I did every one of them and my Norton and it doesn't help.

Any other suggestions?

Evelyn,

ykrp.com certainly sounds suspicious and I found nothing searching
the web. Can you go to:
C:WINDOWS\system\ykrp.com
And right click ykrp.com and click Properties and check all tabs
and see if you can find out any information about this file?
Especially anything under the version tab.
