Only Change 1 Bullet

I am using Word 2007 and I have a series of square bullets that are unfilled.
I would like to change only 1 of the bullets to be a square bullet with a
check mark in the square. I have found the "icon" with the check in the box,
but when I think I am changing only the bullet I want to, it changes all of
the bullets. Is there a way only to change 1 bullet in a series of bullets

Hi Albert,

Create a new paragraph style, click the Format button, click Numbering, and
on the Bullets tab, define your new bullet. You will probably also need to
adjust the paragraph indents to match the other items in your list. Then
apply the style to the one item where you want this bullet to appear.
