Online Updates

One of the online windows XP updates that XP tells me to
downloaded had a speech program in it. I don't want it
but Windows won't let me delete it, how can I get ride of
it
 
can't understand why you can't bypass it, unless you've
downloaded it, if so go to add/remove in control and get
rid of it.
