My Windows XP (upgraded and used since 1/2002) stop
working. I tried to use MICROSOFT ONLINE ASSISTED SUPPORT,
but I have to enter my product ID number. How could I get
this number if I can't start my computer?
 
You can take your computer to a service tec, or just
reinstall XP and start from scratch
 
The usual way to come up with the product key would be to look on the
packaging that XP came in or in the case of a preinstalled oem version,
looking for the sticker on the pc that contains the product key.
