How do I access Microsoft Online Support. When I go to
the Help and Support window I only get the option
of "asking a friend" or going to this newsgroup? What I
really want to know, though, is how to get rid of a page
that keeps coming up instead of my usual homepage.
idgsearch.com keeps showing up even though I keep
changing it back to my internet provider. How do I get
rid of it and how do I know what software will work with
Xp? I've had problems before using McAfee firewall and
had to have my hard drive rebuilt. Don't want to go
there again. Thanks.

You probably have a spyware agent running. Your antivirus software may be
able to clean it up. If not try something like Ad-Aware.
